How do balls bounce?

In science, we continue to look at different types of movement and how the way an object moves will be affected by the object's characteristics as well as by the surface that the object is moving against. We tested a variety of balls on 3 different surfaces to see how they would compare to one another. Which ball bounced the most? The least? Why? (Material, mass, size, etc) Which surface provided the most/least amount of resistance?
